Presentations and Research
Research projects and recitals have thematic focus points. These permeate all creative output, from concert programming to editorial work and other scholarship. There are currently two overarching project themes: Vienna and the pianist-composer-teacher.
The following topics are research presentations with musical examples, taken from the studio work of the teaching pianist-composer:
‘Tales of the Unexpected. Insights into piano lessons as taught by Chopin, Liszt and Brahms’
‘Theodore Leschetizky, or, is having no method the new method?’
